Here is something new: Many of our programs are so designed that even listeners can sing for us and enhance their skill in return. They are also welcome to share poetry of their own on Radio Sagarmatha, something which is contributing to creativity. Some have even become singers and come up with their own albums. Others have become writers after they contributed poems and ghazals to us. They have even come up with their own anthology. We at Radio Sagarmatha take pride in it all.
  • COLLABORATIVE PRODUCTION

Ever since its arrival Radio Sagarmatha has been working with local interest groups, NGOs and development agencies and thus highlighting the issues and agenda of their concern and area of work. This is accomplished under three categories: co-productions, contract programs and sponsorships and paid Public Service Announcements (PSAs).
  • CO-PRODUCTION:

Under this, Radio Sagarmatha extends technical and production support to any organization which volunteers to fund the programs. Under it, the sponsor will have editorial say, with Radio Sagarmatha only providing air-time, and technical support.
  • CONTRACT PROGRAMS:

Under it, major undertakings are underwritten by major international agencies, foundations and institutes. Benefit to them lie in the fact that they stand every chance of disseminating their mandate in effective manner, and thus educating and spreading awareness among the target groups.
  • SPONSORSHIPS AND PAID PSA:

Sponsorship can include paying for specific program or under barter system. PSA can be placed on regular or infrequent basis.
